Using a camera allows you to edit out the bits of your environs that you don't want to see - composition is everything in photography and in this way I can find the beautiful areas often obscured by scale, or location, and highlight them by focusing on the detail.

This summer I will be working with RBC and Whitley Arts Festival as part of the Reading Salon (Photography society) along with fellow Salon and WST member, Shane Gunning. We will be judging the "Our Whitley" photographic competition - this may give me even more of an excuse to put Reading under the lens!
Anne-Marie Carroll has exhibited widely and has had her photography commissioned by South Hill Park and The Eastern Touring Agency, funded by the Arts Council of England.
