I combine traditional painting techniques with more innovative processes to create textured surfaces in contrasting materials.
I am interested in the passage of time and physical decay. The actions of wear and tear give things a resonance that the new lacks.
My current series of paintings is called "Remembered Present" where I address the themes of memory and visual perception, concerns that have underpinned my practice from early on.
I exhibit widely. Showing at the Affordable Art Fair, London and numerous galleries in the region and further afield. I also have work in numerous collections, including Reading Museum.
